The verification badges for Nigerian singers Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid have been removed from their Twitter accounts by the microblogging platform.
Our correspondent's checks on their account on Thursday revealed that the verification badges had been removed.
This new development may have something to do with Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, announcing that they have not paid their verification subscription fee.
Elon Musk had reported the last date for the free Blue identification expulsion through his confirmed record identifications on April 20, 2023.
